-
I work across media, mainly wall works and video. I’m also a trained mosaicist which is something it try to bring into my work with assemblages of contemporary material, mainly aluminium framing and engraved cardboard. I position noise from the digital screen (subcultural, UI, pop ups) alongside craft techniques.

My work brings together different fictional registers, playing with hierarchies of the materially real, intersubjectively real, fictional and fantastic. I am interested in where these registers clash and I think in these moments some of the new conditions in contemporary experience are revealed. My work is felt through the rapid collision, collapse and reformatting of material and fiction. Beyond shifting positions or perspectives, it is now simply a position and one to do things in.
