I work across media, mainly wall works and video. I’m also a trained mosaicist which is something it try to bring into my work with assemblages of contemporary material, mainly aluminium framing and engraved cardboard. I position a variety of noise from the digital screen (subcultural, UI, pop ups) alongside craft techniques.

I am interested in how different fictional registers meet, playing with hierarchies of the materially real, intersubjectively real, fictional and fantastic. I think the strange meeting places of these hierarchies offer up glimpses of new conditions of experience. I push these things together to find the cultural moment, felt through the rapid collision, collapse and reformatting of material and fiction. It’s a new frequency that provides a new context for old questions.  Beyond shifting positions or perspectives, it is now simply a position and one to do things in.
